The PPP leader reveals he had formally submitted the necessary documentation for the positions of Sindh Assembly speaker and deputy speaker.

Karachi: Pakistan Peoples Party leader Sharjeel Inam Memon expressed strong condemnation regarding a political party's decision to correspond with the IMF, likening it to a grave mistake surpassing even the magnitude of the May 9 tragedy.
Memon revealed that he had formally submitted the necessary documentation for the positions of Sindh Assembly speaker and deputy speaker.
He expressed these words while talking to the reporters on Saturday.
Memon said the PPP is the dominant party with a two-third majority in Sindh Assembly. He said that Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah would redouble efforts, striving to foster understanding and progress over the next five years.
Memon decried the act of communicating with the IMF, suggesting its repercussions would far outweigh those of May 9, potentially resulting in mass unemployment should IMF loan disbursements cease. He accused authorities of imprisoning a prominent figure under false pretenses, alleging intentions of resorting to violent extremism that would jeopardize millions.
Appealing to his supporters to remain vigilant, Memon warned against elements seeking to destabilize the nation, questioning the wisdom of permitting external interference in domestic affairs.
