Spokesman of Ministry of Railways says out of the total, around 46 Completely-Built-Up passenger coaches have been procured up till now while the remaining 184 would be manufactured in the country.
Islamabad: Pakistan Railways is set to procure two hundred and thirty passenger coaches and eight hundred twenty High Capacity Wagons under the Public Sector Development Programme.
Spokesman of Ministry of Railways said that out of the total, around 46 Completely-Built-Up passenger coaches have been procured up till now while the remaining 184 would be manufactured in the country.
He said besides, revamping of infrastructure, including the track and signaling system from Karachi to Peshawar, Main Line-I and doubling of track from Lahore to Peshawar is also underway.
