Imran Khan nominates Babar Saleem as speaker KP assembly
However, the elections for speaker and deputy speaker's post will be on February 29.
Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) founder Imran Khan has nominated independent candidate Babar Saleem as speaker of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly.
According to the details, PTI’s leader Umar Ayyub revealed this matter in his statement. Babar Saleem has got victory on provincial assembly’s seat from Mansehra.
Earlier, Asad Qaiser’s brother Aqib Ullah’s name was under consideration for this post. However, the elections for speaker and deputy speaker's post will be on February 29.
Babar Saleem had been a member of provincial assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He was also the advisor of cheif minister on home and tribal affairs.
