Section 144 imposed in Islamabad
According to the police, no protest of any kind is allowed in the city including the red zone.
Islamabad: On the occasion of 16th session of National Assembly, Section 144 has been implemented in the federal capital Islamabad.
According to the details, the session of the newly elected 16th National Assembly will be held today in which the newly elected members of the assembly will take oath.
In the meeting, 310 members out of 336 members are expected to take oath.
According to the Federal Police, the security in the high security zone has been further alerted. Only those with invitations are allowed to enter the Parliament House.
According to the police, no protest of any kind is allowed in the city including the red zone.
