Clash between inmates in Adiala Jail kills one

Rawalpindi: A prisoner was killed as a result of a fight between inmates in Adiala Jail Rawalpindi.

A tragic incident took place in Adiala Jail Rawalpindi on Thursday where a prisoner was killed as a result of a fight between the prisoners.

According to police officials, the prisoner who was killed during the altercation was identified as Ijaz Rabbani, while another prisoner was also injured and identified as Imad Ali.

Officials said that Imad Ali has been shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Hospital for medical assistance.

The officials further said that they are gathering details about the dispute between the deceased and the injured. They are also making arrangements to transfer the dead body and the injured from PIMS to District Headquarters (DHQ).
