Islamabad: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that writing a letter to International monetary Fund (IMF) is tantamount to anti-nationalism, it is his policy.
Nawaz Sharif reached the Parliament House where Prime Minister-designate Shehbaz Sharif and Ayaz Sadiq welcomed him.
On this occasion, Nawaz Sharif was asked about Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s letter, to which he replied that only he can do this, no one else can.
Then it was asked that this is equivalent to anti-nationalism, to which Nawaz Sharif said that you should derive it yourself.
While Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) nominee form Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that former Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan wants the country to suffer complete destruction.
On this occasion of reaching Parliament House, he said that former Chairman PTI Imran Khan’s letter to IMF is another evidence of anti-nationalism after the cypher. There should be no doubt after that.
Shehbaz Sharif further said: ‘Imran Khan wants the country to suffer complete destruction, the action of former Chairman PTI is highly condemnable’.

He continued to say that the letter of founder PTI to IMF is a very sad move. No Pakistani, regardless of political differences, curse for the country.
It is pertinent to note that former Prime Minister Imran Khan had written a letter to IMF to not released the funds to Pakistan until transparency in elections 2024 are ensured.
