Notice issued on contempt of court for not letting lawyers meet Imran
The court issued a notice to the parties seeking their response and adjourned the hearing of the case till next week.
Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Monday issued notice to the parties on the contempt of court for not letting lawyers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan meet him.
According to the details, Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan of Islamabad High Court heard the contempt of court plea of not allowing the lawyers to meet former Chairman PTI Imran Khan despite the court order.
Imran Khan's lawyer Sher Afzal Marwat appeared before the court and took the stand that if they go to jail, they get stopped despite the court order.
The court issued a notice to the parties seeking their response and adjourned the hearing of the case till next week.
