Court disposes of Faisal Javed’s plea amid meeting Imran Khan
The applicant’s lawyer Shiraz Ahmad Ranjha, deputy and assistant superintendent of Adiala jail appeared in the court on orders.
Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has disposed of the petition filed by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) senator Faisal Javed Khan to meet PTI’s founder Imran Khan in Adiala jail.
According to the details, justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan heard the plea of Faisal Javed. The applicant’s lawyer Shiraz Ahmad Ranjha, deputy and assistant superintendent of Adiala jail appeared in the court on orders.
The court ordered the petitioner to attach the list of lawyers and political partners with the order of February 26 and keep it before the jail administration.
However, justice Sardar Ejaz stated that if the superintendent of Adiala jail does not comply with the court orders then he will be fined Rs25,000 per application.
The petitioner's lawyer said that the court had ordered a meeting with the superintendent of Adiala Jail on February 26 but the Superintendent of Adiala jail is not being allowed to meet the founder PTI.
He further said that for disobeying the court orders of 26th February action should be taken against supervenient of Adiala jail amid contempt of court proceedings.
IHC heard the arguments of lawyer and disposed of the plea with some instructions.
