FBR burns Rs10mn non-customs duty cigarette
She further said that the officials have given more instruction regarding the checking process to prevent the smuggling.

Bahawalpur: In an investigation, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has burned non-customs duty cigarettes which were the amount of 10Rs million.
According to the details, there were collectively 160 cartons in which 16,00000 cigarettes found and the officials burned them. The cigarettes which were burned by the officials were expired ones.
Additional Commissioner FBR Afifa Rehman stated that the tax was not paid on those cigarettes and they were dumped out far from the city in the dumping area.
She further said that the officials have given more instruction regarding the checking process to prevent the smuggling.
