Petitions to suspend warrants of Hassan, Hussain in three cases
Lawyer Qazi Misbah added that Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz want to appear before the court.
Islamabad: The petitions have been filed in the Accountability Court for suspension of arrest warrants of Hasan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz, the sons of former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif, in three references.
According to the details, Accountability Court judge Nasir Javed heard the Tosha Khana vehicles case against former President Asif Ali Zardari, former Prime Ministers Nawaz Sharif and Yusuf Raza Gilani.
Nawaz Sharif's lawyer Qazi Misbah, pleader Rana Irfan, prosecutor Usman Masood appeared in the accountability court.
Prosecutor Usman Masood requested the court that the investigating officer will tell what the report is about Tosha Khana vehicles, therefore a notice should be issued to him.
Judge Nasir Javed Rana of the Accountability Court said that notices will be issued to the investigating officer, first tell who are the accused and mark their attendance.
Along with this, the accountability court also summoned the investigating officer on March 19.
Nawaz Sharif's lawyer Qazi Misbah said: “I want to file applications on Avenfield reference, there are petition related to Hasan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz who are proclaimed offender in the reference, both of them will come to Pakistan on March 12”.
Accountability Court judge Nasir Javed Rana replied that he is issuing notice on the petitions of Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz.
Lawyer Qazi Misbah said that you should give notice tomorrow, it is a not a big deal.
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Prosecutor Usman Masood stated that as soon as the accountability court deems it appropriate to take notice.
Lawyer Qazi Misbah added that Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz want to appear before the court.
The accountability court ordered that a notice is issued on the applications of Hasan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz for tomorrow.
Petitions were also filed on Hasan and Hussain’s Flagship and Al-Azizia references, on which the court issued notice for tomorrow.
The applications were also filed to suspend the arrest warrants of Hasan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz in the three references.
