The deserving people are being looked for at division and district basis, stated Maryam.

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif Wednesday said that 32.5 million people of Punjab are going to get their right at their doorstep.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore, Chief Minister Punjab stated: “We are going to give Ramadan package named ‘Ramadan Nigehban’ to the deserving people. People have to stand in long queues while fasting. The right of poor people will be delivered at their doorstep without suffering”.
She added that following her me and Nawaz Sharif’s wish, the team did a great exercise. In this whole process, people from the Punjab government, police and related departments are involved.
The government does not have any data to give relief to the people. We collected all the data with the help of Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) and NADRA. The deserving people are being looked for at division and district basis, stated Maryam.
The Chief Minister referred that Shehbaz Sharif had also given free flour to people in the last Ramadan. It is good news that in the next three to four months, 120.5 million people will be surveyed, whose salary is less than Rs60,000, will be brought in the data. The data will come in a system and will ease for the coming governments as well.
Maryam Nawaz said that there is verification, delivery and transparency in the collected data. Currently the process of packing and delivery of Ramzan Nigehban Package is going on, about 80,000 have been delivered so far.
She also said that one bag contains 10kg of flour, 2kg of sugar, 2kg of ghee and 2kg of rice. Punjab Food Authority (PFA) will monitor flour and ghee mills. Only passed samples are added in the packages, rest were abandoned. The four mills which were not giving good quality products have been sealed. The best quality of ghee, rice, flour, gram flour and rice has been added in the package.
Chief Minister Punjab continued to say: ‘We have digitized the delivery system of Ramadan care package. The teams have been formed on the basis of Union Councils and localities. Punjab Information Technology Board’s (PITB) Android application has been designed for delivery teams.
There are 6.5 million bags and all of them have QR scan code on them. The pictures of the package receivers have also been captured which will be kept safe, said the CM.
