Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has reserved the verdict on the petition against the two notifications of the victory of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) supremo Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif from NA-130 the constituency of Lahore.
According to the details, a two-member bench led by member Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Justice (retired) Ikram Ullah Khan heard the plea. Applicant’s lawyer appeared in ECP.
Petitioner lawyer Ishtiyaq Chaudhry stated that the number of valid votes in the constituency is high whereas the number of counted votes is low so how can it be possible that the two results of the same constituency be released.
However, the hearing adjourned by the ECP after reserving a verdict on that case.
