Lahore: The weather got pleasant due to late night drizzle in various parts of the country including Lahore.
According to the Meteorological Department, it rained in Chiniot district of Punjab and Malakand city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while it snowed in Astor district.

According to the Meteorological Department, a new rain system will enter Balochistan from Iran from March 9.
On the other hand, connecting roads have been blocked in different cities of Balochistan including Gwadar, Chaman, Qila Abdullah due to rain and snowfall in mountainous areas, causing people face severe problems.
Clouds have also blanketed in Galiat and the surrounding areas, due to which the intensity of cold is maintained, while the possibility of more snowfall is also being predicted in Murree.
Apart from this, Pakistan Navy has distributed ration, medicines and warm clothes to the rain victims in Gwadar and coastal areas.
