The applicant’s lawyer Babar Awan appeared in the court.
Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has given the permission of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) core committee member Firdous Shamim to meet PTI’s founder Imran Khan in Adiala jail.
According to the details, justice Saman Rifat Imtiaz heard the plea regarding this case. The applicant’s lawyer Babar Awan appeared in the court.
Babar Awan stated that the applicant is PTI central core committee’s member. The jail authorities are deliberately not allowing him to meet Imran Khan in jail. So, the court should give him the permission.
Assistant attorney general Imran Farooq said that Imran Khan has said to jail authorities by himself to ask first from focal persons regarding to meet then the applicant should approach the focal person.
After hearing the arguments, the court allowed Firdous Shamim to meet Imran Khan.
However, the court summoned arguments from focal person.
