Marriyum Aurangzeb said that plastic bags will be banned follwing the order of the Chief Minister from June 6.


Lahore: The Punjab government has decided to ban plastic bags in the province from June 6.
A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb in which it was decided to digitize the kiln industrial system for better Air Quality Index (AQI).
Marriyum Aurangzeb said that according to the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, quality life is the right of every individual, there will be no compromise with those who play with human lives, therefore crackdown will be conducted against those who spread air pollution.
In the meeting, the senior minister also directed students to form Environment Climate Change Council in educational institutions to make them environmental ambassadors.
