Mohsin Naqvi wants to run PCB in a better way by bringing his management team, in this regard all the situation will be clear before Eid-ul-Fitr.

Karachi: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Mohsin Naqvi is starting the process of restructuring the board after returning from the International Cricket Council (ICC) meeting in Dubai and the finale of Pakistan Super League (PSL-9) on Monday, reportedly.
According to the media reports, the chairman wants to bring in his strong but small management team of professionals and the proposal to eliminate several departments is under consideration.
In his meeting with Chief Financial Officer Javed Murtaza, the reduction of unnecessary expenses and the size of salaries were discussed. Most of the officers and lower level employees who came on the board during the Najam Sethi and Zaka Ashraf era will find it difficult to save their positions, added the reports.
It has also been reported by media that in consultation with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) Salman Naseer, they have taken a detailed briefing from the Finance and Human Resource (HR) departments in the last few days, while there was also briefing on the international series that Pakistan Cricket Team has to participate in the next few years by Director International Usman Wahla.
The report suggested that massive appointments have been made for the last two years and past heads have appointed their favorite people who will also be sent home. Outsourced hiring despite overstaffing in some sectors will also be discouraged.
