Columbo: Sri Lanka Cricket has hired former Pakistani cricketer Aqib Javed as bowling coach.
According to the announcement made by Sri Lanka Cricket, Aqib Javed has been appointed as the bowling coach for the T20 World Cup.
It has been stated by Sri Lanka Cricket, Aqib Javed will coach the Sri Lanka team in the T20 World Cup, for which the former cricketer will immediately join Sri Lanka Cricket.
According to Sri Lanka Cricket, Aqib will initially conduct the fast bowling camp.
Aqib Javed has been entrusted with this responsibility till the T20 World Cup in America and West Indies.
He has the experience of bowling coach with Pakistan, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Afghanistan.
The Javed has been performing the responsibilities of the coach of Pakistan Super League (PSL-9) team Lahore Qalandars in recent days.
