According to the details, terrorists rammed a vehicle which was loaded with explosives into the check post and then carried out several suicide attacks.
Inter-services public relations (ISPR) stated that amid these suicide attacks a part of the building fell down and five army officers martyred in this.
During the clearance operation, Lieutenant Colonel Kashif killed six terrorists. In exchange of firing, Lieutenant Colonel Kashif and captain Muhammad Ahmed Badar have martyred.
However, the 39-years-old Lieutenant Colonel Kashif belonged to Karachi whereas 23-years-old captain Muhammad Ahmed Badar belonged to Tala-gang.
