She attributed the son's name to her late father ‘Murtaza Bhutto’ and said that they have named the son 'Mir Murtaza Byra'.
Karachi: A son has been born to Fatima Bhutto, granddaughter of former Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and daughter of Mir Murtaza Bhutto.
Fatima Bhutto announced the birth of a son on social media and posted that Graham and I are delighted to announce the birth of a son.
She attributed the son's name to her late father ‘Murtaza Bhutto’ and said that they have named the son 'Mir Murtaza Byra'.
Fatima Bhutto, explaining the reason for naming her son Murtaza, said that they wanted to give their son a name that would give him courage and compassion when he is making his way in the world. She wanted a name that would guide him in life and would be a shield of love and strength for him. A name that he would know was given to him from the depths of her mother's heart. A name that would give him a sense of security throughout his life.
She stated: “I wanted to give my son a name that would make him attractive and fearless and give him love and happiness for his country. The name of my beloved father came to mind”.
Fatima has also requested prayers for her son in her post.
It is pertinent to note that last year in April, Fatima Bhutto got married to Graham Jibran.
