The High Court issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Moonis Elahi's wife Tehreem in the FIA money laundering case


Lahore: The Lahore High Court (LHC) Monday issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former federal minister Moonis Elahi's wife Tehreem Elahi.
According to the details, a two-member bench headed by LHC judge Justice Shahram Sarwar Chaudhary heard the prosecution's request to cancel the bail of Rasikh Elahi, Tehreem Elahi and others.
The High Court issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Moonis Elahi's wife Tehreem in the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) money laundering case and adjourned further hearing on the petition till after the Eid holidays.
It is pertinent to note that the prosecution has challenged in the High Court the move to grant interim bail to the named accused in the money laundering case.
Earlier on February 27, the Lahore High Court issued arrest warrants for Tehreem Elahi and other accused in the money laundering case and postponed the hearing till March 18.
