Islamabad: Prime minister Shehbaz Sharif has decided not to take salary and other luxury benefits.
According to the details, federal cabinet session was held and chaired by Shehbaz Sharif in which cabinet members also voluntarily decided not to take salaries and other benefits.
However, the cabinet members did this in the context of promoting austerity at the government level.
In the session, federal finance minister Muhammad Aurangzeb also gave a detailed briefing to the cabinet on the staff level agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
