Islamabad: District inspector general (DIG) operations has suspended three police officers amid taking bribe.
According to the details, an incident revealed regarding three police officers took bribe from a citizen who was sitting in the car. The video went viral and DIG acted against those police officers.
The citizen claimed that the officials demanded bribe of Rs20,000 at Sector G-11 for not having the documents of the car and threatened him that they will lock the car in the police station if the bribe has not been given to them.
Citizen stated that after taking the bribe of Rs10,000 from him he was allowed to take his car with himself.
