The Federal Ministers of Finance, Commerce, Industry and Production, Law will be members of the Steering Committee.


Islamabad: A high-powered steering committee has been established for reforms and automation in Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR).
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will be the chairman of the 10-member steering committee, whose formal notification has also been issued.
Apart from this, the Federal Ministers of Finance, Commerce, Industry and Production, Law will be members of the Steering Committee.
Secretaries of Finance, Industry and Production, Revenue, Trade and Investment Board are also part of the committee. The Finance Division will act as the Secretariat for the Steering Committee, which will monitor the implementation of the approved reform plan in FBR.
The statement further said that comprehensive reforms and automation will be facilitated in FBR under the High-Powered Steering Committee.
