PCB initially wants to give captaincy to Babar Azam by world cup of this year.

Selectors will make him affirmed that he will be an independent captain. It should be noted that the board is on back-foot at this time so Babar will be trying to convince them on his demands.
It is important to mention here that the board can make an announcement in press conference regarding captaincy on March 31.
