In these districts, polio virus has been confirmed in three environmental samples from Malir, 12 from East and five from South.
It is pertinent to note that polio virus was also confirmed in environmental samples of Badin district yesterday.
According to the Ministry of National Health, polio virus has been confirmed in 83 environmental samples this year.
The Ministry of National Health's statement told that the virus found in these environmental samples is of cross-border nature.
According to the statement, the same virus was found in all positive environmental samples and two polio cases this year.
