Father commits suicide after shooting three daughters in Sargodha

Sargodha: In an unfortunate incident, father committed suicide by shooting himself after firing three daughters in which two girls died and one sustained serious injuries in Bhera, tehsil of Sargodha.

According to the police, the accused had divorced his wife and the girls lived with their mother, the father had taken his girls along on the pretext of meeting where this sad incident took place.

The police said that as a result of the firing, the three girls were seriously injured, who were shifted to the Headquarters Hospital Bhera for medical assistance.

According to the police, during the transfer of the injured girls to the hospital, the ten-year-old girl died before reaching the hospital, while the other girl died after reaching the hospital. After shooting the girls, the father committed suicide by shooting himself.

It is also reported quoting police sources that the incident of murder and suicide is an indication of domestic violence.
