Islamabad: The registration of one million wholesalers, dealers and retailers of Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Islamabad and Rawalpindi will take place from today (Monday).
To bring the shopkeepers into the tax net, the registration started from today and will continue till April 30 while the tax collection will start from July 1.
Trader-Friendly Scheme will not be applicable to international or national businesses operating in more than one city.
On the other hand, there will be registration of furniture renovation showrooms, jewelers, cosmetics store, grocery, medical, hardware, meat, vegetable and fruit vendors.
