Pakistan rejects Kabul govt's suggestion to negotiate with terrorist groups
Mumtaz Zahra Baloch added that Pakistan is not negotiating with the TTP or other terrorist groups, and has no intention of negotiating with them.


Islamabad: Pakistan rejected the Kabul government's suggestion to negotiate with terrorist groups. The Spokesperson of Foreign Office Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that Pakistan is not negotiating with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) or other terrorist groups.
While giving a weekly media briefing in Islamabad, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz stated that Kashmiris are facing Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir. She strongly condemned the ongoing atrocities of Israel in Gaza, saying, ‘The violation of human rights in Gaza is a moment to think for the international community. Palestinians are facing challenges such as malnutrition’.
Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, responding to the Afghan Deputy Foreign Minister's suggestion for talks, added that Pakistan is not negotiating with the TTP or other terrorist groups, and has no intention of negotiating with them.
She further said that the Afghan government should take action against the leadership of TTP and terrorists. The investigation of terrorism against Chinese engineers in Bisham is going on, and will be informed when it is completed.
Referring to the letter of the US President, the spokesperson of the Foreign Office stated that the leadership of Pakistan and the United States have exchanged letters. The leadership has reiterated to work together, they want to benefit from the American experiences against terrorism in the security sector. Pakistan and US can exchange information against terrorism.
The spokesperson of the Foreign Office also said that the date of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's visit to China has not been decided yet.
