Islamabad: Election commission of Pakistan (ECP) has rejected plea of recounting votes in PP-124 the constituency of Toba Tek Singh.
Election commission stated that the successful candidate’s victory margin is more than 4,000 in PP-124. If the applicant wants to he can approach the election tribunal.
It should be noted that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) candidate Qutab Ali Shah had filed plea of recounting votes in PP-124.
However, independent candidate Sonia had won the election from PP-124 the constituency of Toba Tek Singh.
