Islamabad: International monetary fund (IMF) is prepared to talk on new program with Pakistan in upcoming months.
According to the details, IMF’s spokesperson was talking to media regarding the new program with Pakistan in upcoming months. IMF’s spokesperson stated that the prediction will be issued regarding Pakistan’s progress in next weeks.
Earlier IMF communication director Julie Kozack said that after completing the first evaluation Pakistan’s economic and financial condition improved.
She also said that under the stand by agreement payment of Rs3 billion to Pakistan. IMF board meeting is expected at the end of this month.
It should be noted that prime minister Shehbaz Sharif warned that the conditions for the new IMF program will not be easy. He added that the next installment will be received from IMF this month.
