Mohsin Naqvi said that the importance of historical relations between Pakistan and Britain has its own place.


Islamabad: Federal interior minister Mohsin Naqvi has met with British high commissioner Jean Marriott in Islamabad.
According to the details, Mohsin Naqvi welcomed Jean Marriott on arrival of interior ministry. The Bilateral security cooperation and issues of mutual interest such as cricket series between Pakistan and England were also discussed in the meeting.
In the meeting both leaders agreed to strengthen relations between the two countries in various fields. Jean Marriott congratulated Mohsin Naqvi for the successful conduct of Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) season 9.
The British High Commissioner expressed her best wishes for Mohsin Naqvi on being elected as senator without contest.
She stated that she enjoyed watching PSL 9 matches. She also prays for Mohsin Naqvi's success in the ministry of Interior with the Pakistan cricket board (PCB).
However, Mohsin Naqvi said that the importance of historical relations between Pakistan and Britain has its own place. Pakistan values Britain's cooperation in various fields the T20 series between Pakistan and England will help both teams in their world cup preparation.
