Bahawalnagar: A young boy threw acid on a girl after she resisted molestation in Bahawalnagar, Tehsil of Punjab Province.
According to the details, the police say that the obscene youth Naveed threw acid on the 18-year-old girl Sidra Bibi while returning home from Milad.
The girl was immediately taken to the hospital. However, the face and body of the girl got burnt due to acid.
A case has been registered in Donga Bonga Police Station on the complaint of the victim girl's father Muhammad Anwar, raids are being conducted to arrest the accused.
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz took notice of the incident.
