Islamabad: Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Shaukat Tarin has reviewed the progress on the Privatization of the SME Bank.

According to details, the finance minister chaired a meeting in Islamabad on Thursday to where he was briefed that the pre-bidding process for the Privatization of the SME Bank is completed and interested parties have been shortlisted.
Minister for Privatization Muhammad Mian Soomro told the meeting that they are constantly in touch with the potential investors and will keep updating the Finance Ministry, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and all the other relevant stakeholders over the new developments and progress in the process.
Shaukat Tarin affirmed his support for the Privatization Commission for the successful completion of the transaction.
