Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to boycott of chairman and deputy chairman’s senate elections.
According to the details, PTI’s political core committee termed chairman and deputy chairman’s senate elections as unconstitutional. In accordance with the core committee house of federation is incomplete. Without the elections of senator of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), chairman senate’s elections is also against the constitutional scheme.
PTI core committee stated that senate secretariat cannot take any decision apart from administration. Secretary senate cannot explain the constitution by himself under any pressure.
However, without the chairman senate the house has only limited to only one department. Senate became un-active in democratic era at first time. Constitutional scheme has been crumbled so action should take against the ones who broke the rules of constitution.
