It should be noted that PTI boycotted the senate’s elections for chairman and deputy chairman.


Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) senator Ali Zafar stated that the chairman senate’s elections is against the violation of law.
According to the details, senate’s 43 newly elected members will take oath of their position after which the new chairman and deputy chairman elections will be held.
Earlier the senate’s session PTI’s senator said that the violation is going on of the article 59 and 60. PTI will demand to postpone the elections from presiding officer.
Ali Zafar added that if the presiding officer won’t accept the demand then PTI will not be a part of senate’s elections for chairman and deputy chairman.
It should be noted that PTI boycotted the senate’s elections for chairman and deputy chairman.
