PHC asks transparency int’l to republish report on corruption in judiciary 

Peshawar: The chief justice of Peshawar high court (PHC) has issued the last verdict as chief justice on the matter of declaring the judiciary as the third most corrupt institution in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

According to the details, 31 pages of verdict has been issued against the transparency international report case by the chief justice PHC. 

It is stated in the written decree to republish the annual report of transparency International Pakistan and publish a fact-based report by adding missing data to the transparency International report.

The court said that the transparency International should submit a report to the registrar PHC by April 24. The total number of rejected forms during the survey should be published in the report.

PHC ordered that all public opinion ratios should be published clearly in the transparency International report and no ambiguity should be left for the reader. Transparency International should have taken the initiative to correct the report of the national corruption perception survey.

It is added in the written decree that an impression should not be taken from the decision that any freedom of expression has been banned.
