Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique demanded the government to lift the ban on social media website X (formerly Twitter).
The leader of Muslim League-N Saad Rafiq turned to social networking website X and stated that the ban on X (Twitter) should be lifted in the country. This ban imposed during the caretaker period did not benefit anyone.
He added that they should avoid the humiliation, politics will be fought only with politics.
It is pertinent to note that despite the submission of reports by the Ministry of Interior and Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) yesterday, a decision regarding the restoration of X service could not be taken.
Notably, the service of Twitter (X) has been suspended across Pakistan since February 17 which was partially restored several times during the last two months, but it could not be fully operationalized.
