Karachi: Iranian President Dr. Ibrahim Raisi Wednesday returned Iran along with his delegation after completing his visit to Pakistan.

During the visit, the Irani president met Prime Minister, President, Army Chief, Chairman Senate, Speaker National Assembly, Chief Ministers and Governors of Punjab and Sindh.
Pakistan and Iran agreed to increase the trade volume to 10 billion dollars during the visit.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Presdident Ibrahim held a joint conference in Islamabad after the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) ceremony of cooperation in various fields.
On this occasion, Shehbaz Sharif said that they had amazing conversation today. We have religious, cultural, economic and security ties. A detailed discussion was held in all areas.
He stated that the relations between Iran and Pakistan are not only for 76 years, Pakistan was first recognized by Iran.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan added that the Security Council resolution on Gaza is being flouted, but the United Nations is silent, while he was grateful to the Iranian president for raising his voice for Kashmir.
Ibrahim Raisi said that they have historical relations with its friend and neighboring country Pakistan, no one can sever the relationship between Pakistan and Iran.
The Iranian president stated that today we have decided to increase Pak-Iran economic, commercial and cultural relations. We will further strengthen mutual relations between friendly countries. We have agreed to increase the trade volume of Pakistan-Iran to 10 billion dollars.
Highlighting the history of relations between Pakistan and Iran, the two leaders reiterated their commitment to widening cooperation in bilateral relations, particularly in the areas of trade, energy, connectivity, culture and people-to-people relations.
It is pertinent to note that on the three-day official visit to Pakistan, the Iranian president was accompanied by his wife, the Iranian foreign minister, other members of the cabinet, senior officials and businessmen.
