Islamabad: Pakistan is presently experiencing the third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than previous two waves.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 1,490 cases of coronavirus were reported while 58 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 21,323.
The total number of cases has reached 933,630.
As many as 864,931 patients have recovered from the disease with 3,205 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 342,498 in the province with 10,314 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 323,828 in the province, while the death toll has reached 5,136.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 134,558 in the province with 4,158 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 25,819 confirmed cases while 289 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 19,519 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 554. On the other hand, there are 5,642 cases in GB with 107 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 81,766 cases in the capital city while 765 people have lost their lives
