Mohsin Naqvi announces to upgrade coastal guards
The performance of coast guards is excellent despite the limited resources
Karachi: The federal interior minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced to upgrade the Pakistan coastal guards.
According to the details, Mohsin Naqvi chaired a meeting at the headquarters of Pakistan coast guards in which secretary interior, senior officials and officers of Pakistan coast guards participated.
He stated that Pakistan coastal guards will be upgraded on modern lines. The coastal guards have to play an important role for anti-smuggling.
Interior minister added that Pakistan coast guards have to play a more active role to prevent smuggling from coastal areas. The performance of coast guards is excellent despite the limited resources.
