Pakistan Navy chief visits China's People's Liberation Army Navy headquarters

Rawalpindi: Pakistan Navy Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf visited the headquarters of China's People's Liberation Army Navy.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Department of the Pakistan Army, the Chief of the Pakistan Navy, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, on the occasion of his visit to the headquarters of the People's Liberation Army Navy, met the Commander of the Chinese Navy, Admiral Hu Zhongming, in which bilateral issues of maritime cooperation and regional maritime security were discussed.
Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf highlighted the role of the Pakistan Navy for peace through Maritime Security Patrol while Commander People's Liberation Army Navy appreciated the role of Pakistan Navy in joint maritime security in the region.
ISPR added that the Chinese Army Navy Commander stressed the importance of strong bilateral naval cooperation.
According to ISPR, Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf's visit to the headquarters of China's People's Liberation Army Navy will further expand the defense relations between the armed forces.
