Man raping minor apprehended in Mansehra

Mansehra: Gohar Aman, son of Faqir Muhammad, a resident of Dara Dalula, accused of raping an eight-year-old girl, has been arrested from the area within the limits of Garhi Habibullah police station in Mansehra.

After collecting all the pieces of evidence, a case was also registered against the accused under the Adultery and Child Protection Act in Garhi Habibullah police station.

Mansehra District Police Officer (DPO) Shafiullah Gandapur visited the hospital and met the victim and her family.

The DPO assured to provide justice to the family of the victim girl and to strictly bring the accused to the justice according to law.

He, on the spot, issued instructions to Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) Investigation, Station House Officer (SHO) Garhi Habibullah police station and investigating officer of the case to carry out all the stages and aspects of the investigation on merit and to sentence the accused.

DPO Mansehra also had a special meeting with the doctors and medical team and inquired about the condition of the girl.

Besides, following the instructions of DPO Mansehra Shafiullah, Victim Support Service Team Mansehra also met with the girl victim and provided her with psychological treatment and first aid.
