Mohsin Akhtar Kayani has written a letter to Chief Justice requesting contempt of court proceedings on social media campaign running against him


Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani also wrote a letter to the Chief Justice Aamer Farooq for contempt of court proceedings.
Senior Judge of IHC, Mohsin Akhtar Kayani, has written a letter to Chief Justice requesting contempt of court proceedings on social media campaign running against him.
Earlier, Justice Babar Sattar had written a letter to the Chief Justice of IHC to take contempt of court action against the social media campaign running against him, to which it was decided that the letter would be converted into contempt of court and action would be taken.
It is also reported that a bench is likely to be formed today on the lines of two judges of the IHC, which will issue contempt of court notices against the two judges for negative propaganda on social media.
Notably, a campaign was launched on social media regarding the American citizenship of Justice Babar Sattar which was denied by IHC that Babar Sattar does not have the citizenship of any country other than Pakistan.
