The PTI leader was leaving the news channel office at the time of the incident

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader and central secretary information Raoof Hasan suffered injuries after unknown assailants attacked with a knife outside the GNN news channel office in the federal capital on Tuesday.
The PTI leader, who was leaving the new channel office after participating in a programme, was shifted to a hospital. He told the GNN channel that he was walking when unknown suspects attacked him.

Soon after the incident, the opposition senators walked out of the Senate session. The GNN channel got exclusive footage of the attack. The PTI leader could be seen walking and intercepted by some people. He was also beaten by the suspects.
