PTI leader Rauf Hassan's FIR has been registered against unidentified transgenders


Islamabad: A case of attack on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Information Secretary Rauf Hassan has been registered.
The case has been registered in Islamabad's Abpara police station, which includes attempted murder, death threats and other charges.
PTI leader Rauf Hassan's First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against unidentified transgenders.
According to the text of Rauf Hasan's FIR, he was going to the parking lot after of the GNN Islamabad Office after appearing in a TV program. A man who appeared to be a transgender stopped and attacked him.
He said: “At the same time, three more eunuch-like persons came and attacked me fatally. They tried to cut my throat with a sharp weapon to kill me. As I moved back to protect myself, I was cut on the face by a sharp weapon”.
The PTI leader stated in the FIR that a similar attack was attempted against him in Blue Area of Islamabad two days ago.
It is pertinent to note that the Central Information Secretary of PTI, Rauf Hassan, was attacked with a blade by transgenders in G-7 center Islamabad outside the office of GNN, in which his face was injured.
