Mandokhel threatened me and insulted my late father, says Firdous after heated exchange with PPP’s MNA
Lahore: Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab on information Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan engaged in a brawl with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Member National Assembly (MNA) Qadir Mandokhel during the recording of a television show of private news channel.

According to details, the video clip of both political leaders has gone viral, in which the two politicians can be seen abusing each other besides engaging in a physical brawl.
Reportedly, Qadir Mandokhel accused Firdous Ashiq Awan of committing corruption that led to heated exchange of words between two.
Later, taking to Twitter, CM’s aide said that Mandokhel had used foul language which made her furious. She further stated that only one-sided story was being shared in the video and asked the TV channel to release the full video.
"During the talk show, PPP's Qadir Mandokhel threatened me. He insulted my late father and me by using abusive language. I had to take an extreme step in my defence," Awan tweeted along with a video statement.
She said legal action will be taken against Mandokhel after having consultations with her team.

Meanwhile, PPP MNA has not released any official statement following the incident.
