Skardu bound flight narrowly escapes accident

Islamabad: A private airline flight from Islamabad to Skardu narrowly escaped an accident.

According to the media reports, immediately after take-off from Islamabad, a technical problem occurred in the plane.

The landing gear of the plane did not close after take-off. The captain of flight PA-251 immediately contacted the Air Traffic Controller (ATC) but due to the runway not being clear, the aircraft made two rounds in the airspace of Islamabad and after that landed safely.

Later, the flight of the private airline was cancelled.
