There is no chance of rain and the weather will remain hot and dry throughout the day


Lahore: In the provincial capital Lahore, the sun Monday started shining with all its splendor early in the morning.
According to the meteorological department, the minimum temperature in the city of gardens, Lahore, is expected to go up to 27 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature is expected to reach 44 degrees Celsius. There is no chance of rain and the weather will remain hot and dry throughout the day.
According to the weather forecasters, the humidity in the air has reached 35 percent in Lahore, while the wind speed has been recorded at five kilometres per hour.
On the other hand, Director General Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) says that the heat wave may be severe in the districts of Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Dera Ghazi Khan and Multan in South Punjab.
He further informed that heat wave counters have been set up in all the hospitals while instructions have also been issued to ensure the supply of relevant medicines to prevent heat stroke.
