Pakistan's second communication satellite 'PAKSAT MM1' ready for launch
PAKSAT MM1 will be launched into space on Thursday


Islamabad: Pakistan's second communication satellite ‘PAKSAT MM1’ is all set for launch.
Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission's (SUPARCO) ambition of providing internet access to remote areas is just days away. Pakistan's latest communication satellite, PAKSAT MM1, will be launched into space on Thursday.
The vision of SUPARCO is an advanced digital Pakistan. This is the second space mission of SUPARCO Pakistan in the month of May.
Paksat MM1 will help improve TV broadcasting, cellular phone service, and broadband service across Pakistan and it will start providing its service in August this year. The satellite has been developed by Pakistani scientists and engineers after day and night of hard work.
It is pertinent to note that Pakistan has also recently launched its first lunar satellite iCube Qamar.
