Lahore: At least two maids were arrested on Wednesday over charges of filming in appropriate videos of the families and blackmailing them in the provincial capital.
The Race Course Police station registered FIR against two maids on complaint of a woman, the resident of Islamia Park.
According to the complainant, the women belong to a gang working in the households and secretly filming the families to blackmail them.
The suspects took employment under the guise of domestic help and then covertly recorded inappropriate videos of young girls in the households. The videos were later being used to harass and blackmail the families.

The suspects arrested over the said charges were identified as Arooj Fatima and Jameela Bibi. The police said they also recovered dozens of inappropriate videos from them.
The police also conducted raids to arrest the owner of the agency involved in providing maid services to the households.
